Stephen is a Psychotherapist and a HCPC registered Music Therapist, with an MSc in Clinical Psychology, an MSc in Psychology of Pathological addiction, MSc in Psychology: Methods and Techniques for Supporting People with Diverse Abilities, and further training, amongst others, in CBT, MBCT, Metacognitive Behavioural Therapy, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mental Health First Aid. Stephen is also a fully qualified Nurse (BSc in Nursing Science). Stephen's approach is non-judgmental and compassionate, supporting you on your journey to healing and mind-body-spirit well-being.
Stephen has experience working with clients of all ages, cultural backgrounds and spiritual beliefs.
This includes, but is not limited to, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, anger, chronic childhood abuse, PTSD, identity, profound sadness and despair, frustration, low self-esteem/confidence issues, and relationship issues. Within a holistic person-centred approach, Stephen includes in his practice techniques based on mindfulness and breath-work, offering a combination of talking and non-verbal approaches to help you with life's difficulties.
